Ricky Sinclair: Yes I can – Fighting the invisible war

Yes I Can

Fighting the Invisible War

I Timothy 6:12

  1. Renewing my mind (Romans 12:1-2)
  1. Transformation only comes when we change the way we think, believe and speak.
  2. We must think and believe what God says we are. (John 8:32)
  3. We must not allow what people have said about us to limit us and cause us to settle for less than God’s best. (II Corinthians 10:3-5)
  4. Doubt, unbelief, shame, discouragement, anger, unforgiveness, and judgment are mind sets that curse and paralyze us, hindering the power of God, His favor and blessing from moving in my life.
  1. How do we think? What do we think? (Romans 12:21)
  1. God created us to win, overcome, and be successful in life. (Psalm 139:1-2, 13-18)
  2. God created us for His purpose, plan and destiny. Greatness is in us. The only way it comes out of us is right thinking, believing, speaking living.
  3. Yes, I can. Why? Because it’s in our God given DNA. We are designed and engineered to win. We have it all, God has made sure we are smart enough, have all the right gifts and talents. God has equipped and fortified us.
  4. Pull the trigger – we can do it! We are going to new levels. What we thought was impossible is now possible. God’s favor and blessing is upon us. We are going higher, bigger, and further than you ever thought. (Ephesians 3:20)
  5. All we have to do is think we can. Believe that God is good and He is with us, going before us to open up great doors, great opportunities. Yes, we are going to be successful, things are going our way. It will work out and for our good.
  6. Right thinking and believing is faith in God that releases God’s reward in our lives. (Hebrew 11:6)
  1. Vision and faith work together.
  1. When we constantly see the vision we move forward towards God’s plan and purpose.
  2. We must connect something physical to our vision in order to keep the momentum flowing.
  3. Maybe our vision is not coming to pass because we aren’t keeping the right things before us. Remember, imagination paints the picture of your life.
  1. For example: Our goals and desires must be written down and kept in front of us every day and then we will be able to move forward. Me and Jeannie have written our goals down for years and seen them come to pass. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
  2. What we believe, we speak. By speaking, we release authority to see it manifest. (Romans 4:17)
  3. Whatever promise of God we want to see come to pass, we need to write those scriptures on sticky notes and put them around our house. Listen to the Bible on God’s promises. As we attach something tangible to our vision, God will manifest. (Joshua 1:6-9)
  4. What reminds us and keeps us thinking about God’s vision for our lives? What inspires us? If we are believing for a certain car, house, job then get pictures of what you want and look at them every day. Right believing is what moves us forward.
  5. God told Abraham to look up and see the stars that would represent his descendants and God’s vision for his life. (Genesis 15:5-6)
  6. Connecting something physical to your vision will plant seed in you. Now start to praise, worship and thank God for the vision coming to pass.
  7. My vision is to reach the world so I call my ministry Sinclair World Ministries.
  8. Our vision for our church is for God to manifest miracles in people’s lives so we call our church Miracle Place Church. We believe God is present and ready to move.
  9. As we keep the vision in front of us it will release our faith that will in turn unlock God’s authority and power in our lives. Our faith comes from what we think, believe and speak. (Proverbs 29:18)
  10. Instead of planning on dying, plan to live. Plan on being healthy, not sick. Say, “I will live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. (Psalm 118:17)
  11. “I am healed of all diseases. I am forgiven of every sin I have ever committed.” (Psalm 103:2-3)
  12. Why do we need something physical to connect our vision and faith to? God knows that there will be days of disappointment, discouragement, fear, doubt and wanting to give up. As we see where we are going, it will renew, refresh and encourage us to keep fighting the good fight of faith. Use the power of your imagination – see great things.
  13. At times reports won’t look good, business may be slow. People are not doing right, health is faltering, finances are tight, and resources are low or not there. This is the time to read God’s promises and write them down. Look at our goals that we have written and the blueprint we have drawn. Think that your dreams will come to pass, it’s going to work. Yes we can! God will work it out. The Lord is with us, He has called us and appointed us for such a time as this. God is faithful and we thank You Lord that You are working all things for our good, even as you did for Joseph.
  14. Stop thinking and saying, “I’m too old, it’s impossible, it’s too late, if only I had.” Start thinking and saying, “Yes I can! I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. Keep honoring God and He will do more than you ever could dream or imagine. Always thank God, be grateful and appreciative, praising and glorifying God. Be kind and good hearted, walking with a pure heart. We will be amazed at what God does for us –biggie size!
