Legacy No Regrets
Daniel 12:3
- Jesus teaches us how to leave a Godly legacy by going through the straight gate.
- What is the straight gate?
- What does it mean to build on rock or sand?
- Today we are living in the legacy of others, while leaving our own legacy for those who will come after us.
- We are standing on the shoulders of those who have given and sacrificed much to pave the road we now walk on.
- Our Christian heritage came at a great price by great men and women who gave their lives for us.
- There are two types of legacy that we can leave. The sinners – self-gratification and The Godly – self-sacrifice. (Matthew 7:1-27)
- Judge not. (Matthew 7:1-2)
- Get the board out of your own eye. (Matthew 7:3-5)
- Don’t hang out with dogs and pigs. (Matthew 7:6)
- Ask, Seek, Knock. (Matthew 7:7-11)
- Always live the golden rule. (Matthew 7:12)
- Which Way: Straight Gate – Broad Gate; Narrow way – Broadway; Life or Destruction. (Matthew 7:13-14)
- Know who the prophet is – discernment. (Matthew 7:15-16)
- Good tree – Corrupt tree; Good fruit – Evil fruit. (Matthew 7:17-20)
- Don’t be fooled by Christian lingo or Christian works. We all must know Jesus personally. (Matthew 7:21-23)
- The wise builds on rock – The foolish build on sand, (Matthew 7:24-27)
- If we want to make the right mark, then we must set the right course NOW. (Deuteronomy 30:15, 1 Kings 18:21 amp.)
- Choose life and blessing. Don’t hesitate in your opinion for God.
- Life makes no sense without God, Solomon. (Ecclesiastes 2:1-11, 24-25)
- To change your world:
- You don’t have to be famous or have a large following or be celebrated as some big shot.
- You need to simply do what God has planned and called you to do.
- Just be the best you: dad, mom, husband, wife, grandfather, grandmother, friend, serving God and open to hear and do Gods voice.
- I’m Praying for all of us to live a Godly Legacy.
