The Law of Speaking and Releasing
Proverbs 18:21 KJV
- I. People talk about their misfortunes and problems.
- a. Their interpretations of events, people and themselves communicate creation to the world, bringing them into existence.
- b. So, when we gripe and complain about our lives to others, we are releasing that reality.
- c. When you think and say something enough times you start to believe it as truth whether it is or not.
- d. So, do I really want to tell everyone how unlucky, unsuccessful, miserable, I am?
- e. Stop and think before you speak. Choose the words that you speak consciously.
- f. Negative, powerless words like I can’t, what if, and I shouldn’t kill creativity and opportunity.
- g. As the creator of your world, what you say means blessing or curse, life or death.
- h. Instead of saying I’m overweight and fat, say every day I’m getting closer to my goal of weight and health.
- II. Words affirm the thoughts and intents of your heart. (Hebrews 4:12 KJV) Faith calls those things which are not as though they were. (Romans 4:17 KJV)
- III. Your words will go to the root, the life of the thing you speak too. (Mark 11:20-25 KJV)
- IV. Be therefore followers of God, as dear children. (Ephesians 5:1)
- a. “And God said, let there be light and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3)
- b. “And God called the light day and the darkness He called night.” (Genesis 1:5)
- c. “And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters and it was so.” (Genesis 1:7)
- d. “And God said, let the waters under heaven be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear and it was so.” (Genesis 1:9)
- e. “And God called the dry land earth and the gathering together of waters called He seas.” (Genesis 1:10)
- V. We have existence because God said, “let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”
- a. We have dominion and authority to rule earth and over all that lives and exist in the earth. (Genesis 1:26-30 KJV)
- b. Understanding the authority and the responsibility that God has given me through speaking and releasing. Now what I say and believe creates substance. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV)
- c. Pleasing and receiving God’s reward by believing God is. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)
